Fluoridation in New York
According to a report issued by the
Centers for Disease Control (CDC)
in 2006, approximately 73% of
residents in New York served by
community water systems receive
water that has been fluoridated.
The CDC, unfortunately, is very
pro-fluoride, and they are working
hard to increase that percentage to
100%. Their state database shows
the current status of fluoridation of
water systems in each county in
New York as of 2008. To find out if
fluoride is currently added to the
drinking water in your community,

Corning Residents Vote
to Take Back Control of
Fluoridation Authority
On November 4, Corning residents
voted to take the authority to
fluoridate the town's water supply
out of the hands of the City Council
and give that authority to the
people, giving citizens the final say
on this issue. Congratulations to
everyone who worked hard on this
issue to keep the water safe in
their community.
